01. Data controller
eLand, Lda, Portuguese tax identification number 517 252 589, at Rua Carlos Charbel, 39A, Cacém, Portugal, is the controller of personal data collected through eland.pt. For privacy enquiries, contact contact form.
02. Data and purposes
When submitting the form, you provide your name, email address, subject and message. We use these details to review and respond to your enquiry and, where requested, assess a proposal or business relationship. Please do not send sensitive data or unnecessary information about other people. Hosting and security may involve processing IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs and browser information.
03. Legal bases
Enquiries about a possible contract are processed to take steps at your request before entering a contract, under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other enquiries, security and server statistics rely on our legitimate interests in communicating, protecting the site and understanding its use, under Article 6(1)(f), balanced against your rights. Optional language storage depends on your choice and can be disabled at any time. Sending a message does not subscribe you to marketing communications.
04. Providers and recipients
Netlify provides hosting and form processing. Enquiries may be forwarded to eLand’s mailbox with its email provider. Access should be limited to the people and providers who need the data for these purposes. We do not sell your data. Where a provider transfers data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer must be covered by an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses. You can request information about the applicable safeguards by email.
05. Retention
We retain enquiries for as long as necessary to respond and follow up. If a contractual relationship results, relevant records are retained for applicable statutory periods. Enquiries without further follow-up should be reviewed regularly and deleted when no longer needed. Browser preferences expire after 6 months.
06. Cookies and local storage
This version of the site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. It uses local storage for privacy preferences (eland-privacy) and, only when permitted, your language (eland-language). You can change your choice using “Cookie preferences” in the footer or delete this data in your browser settings. The site still works when storage is unavailable, but the notice may appear again.
07. Server statistics
When enabled by the operator, Netlify Analytics uses requests received by the server without setting browser analytics cookies. Technical server collection is not controlled by this site’s storage preferences. It may include technical data such as IP addresses, pages visited and referrers, subject to the provider’s retention and protection conditions.
08. Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw a consent choice without affecting earlier processing. Contact us using the contact form; we may request only the information needed to verify your identity. You can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD). This site does not make automated decisions or carry out profiling with legal effects.
09. Providing data and updates
The form fields are required to handle your enquiry; alternatively, you can email us. We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site or our processing practices. The applicable version is published here.
